Good location, near the DART station (metro) and Plano where you could find several restaurants, supermarkets, etc. room was clean and bed was comfortable. They have heating and it is useful in winter time.
facilities are old, there is a damaged van outside that makes the hotel look bad. bathrooms are old and need maintenance, bathroom door does not close properly and shower inside does not have anti-slip material so it was dangerous. manager has to work on improving her customer service, since I planned my trip I wrote to them indicating that I needed to make an early check in, since I was traveling early in the morning and I never got an answer. day I arrived the manager didn't let me check in until 3pm (I arrived at 12) not even paying an extra amount and what seemed even worse, she didn't let me wait in the hotel lobby "since this gave a bad image to the clients and she had to take care of her business" as she told me in her own words, so I had to go around for 3 hours until my room was ready and it was time to check in. breakfast was simple, American style (small muffins, waffles, yogurt, toast, juice or coffee) was the same every day.

The man at the front desk name Brian.
First when we got in the room it smelled very bad. The bathroom door was messed up and they were supposed to fix it but no one ever showed. Then the things that they call blankets had cigarette holes in them on both beds. They also had bedbugs for room 105. Then the shower door was getting stuck. The best part (not) is that on the sign outside it says 55.00 but then when you go inside they say oh that will be 60.00 per night. Make up your mind about the price. After staying there for two days, I said that I will never go back. The hotel needs to be remodeled. It is such a complete waste.

Reasonable Stay with Some Room for Improvement
Despite some issues, my experience included a comfy bed and a decent shower. The location is convenient for travelers, with easy access to nearby restaurants. Cleanliness needs attention. I'd advise checking your room thoroughly upon arrival.

Location
Hallways dusty from construction remodeling in the evenings. Mix up on paying for separate rooms. Charged my mother's card for my room even though she told cleek not to do so. Lobby was always hot!!!

The staff is nice and do their best to rectify any complaints. The free breakfast in the morning gets an A+++. I love the waffles and juice that doesn't taste watered down (as in some other hotels) in the morning.
NOT ENOUGH WATER PRESSURE IN SHOWER. Squeaky bed. The odor in both the smoking room and the non-smoking room was really bad. However, they were in the middle of remodeling and I think the smell was the adhesive used for the flooring.

The hotel was clean and the staff were amazingly helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and comfortable as for me, just next door to restaurants and Plano and Richardson and the DART rail line. It also was in Dallas. I had a peaceful time.
